Role Overview

As a Software Engineer at Amdocs, you will be responsible for the design, development, modification, debugging, and maintenance of software systems. This specific role blends system administration expertise with software engineering practices, ideal for professionals who are proficient in managing complex IT infrastructures while automating and improving performance with scripting.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server and macOS/iOS environments
• Perform system upgrades, patch management, and system performance tuning
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
• Configure, monitor, and manage Cisco firewalls, routers, and switches
• Implement and manage Active Directory, Group Policies, and Exchange/Office 365
• Ensure system security and compliance
• Administer Azure Entra ID, RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), and Intune Management

Requirements

Technical Requirements

• Proven experience in Windows and iOS systems administration
• Strong expertise in Cisco firewall configuration and network management
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell and Python is a plus
• Ability to perform patch management and system tuning
• Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure environments
• Understanding of cloud security and enterprise compliance

Preferred

• Prior experience in managing hybrid cloud systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
